The Scottish Maritime Museum has secured funding to offer 50 FREE online workshops to primary schools across West Dunbartonshire.
The new online workshops suit all primary school years and link with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) learning.
Topics on offer range from life on Scottish islands and the vital lifeline puffer boats provided right through to buoyancy, balance, friction and the sinking of ‘the unsinkable ship’, the Titanic.
Announcing the new FREE education workshops, Sarah Takhar, Learning and Access Officer at the Scottish Maritime Museum, says:
We’re excited to launch our new FREE online workshops for schools around our Museum in Dumbarton. We have a great range of STEM and Curriculum for Excellence topics available for all primary school years.
“As the places are limited, we’re urging all interested schools to get in touch as soon as they can.”
