If you are bringing your class to our museums in Irvine or Dumbarton, we may be able to help subsidise your transport costs up to £300.

This covers the cost of private hire transport and ferries for the journey to and from the museum.

For Irvine this subsidy is available for primary schools and EYCs in East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire, and South Ayrshire.

For Dumbarton the subsidy is available for EYCs primary schools and EYC in Argyll and Bute, Inverclyde, Renfrewshire, Stirling, & West Dunbartonshire.

To claim –

After confirming your booking, and when agreed with the Learning team that you are in a local authority that qualifies for our travel subsidy, you would provide us with an invoice from your travel company and a completed travel subsidy form.
