Our Learning boxes are carefully designed by our Learning Team to bring Scottish maritime heritage direct to your school. Each box is packed with artifacts, stories, STEM activities and resources and created in support of the Curriculum for Excellence. Bring your topic to life in the classroom with these exciting boxes.

Loans cost £30 per half term – September-October, November-December, Jan-March, or April-June.

We are flexible with pick up dates and times, please note on the booking form your preferences. All Learning boxes must be ordered in advance.

‘Ship to Shore’ Online Sessions

Our fantastic cross-curricular ‘Ship to Shore Online Learning Workshops’ centre on the Scottish Maritime Museum’s most popular Curriculum for Excellence linked STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities. These sessions are open to all primary schools. Schools around our Dumbarton site (Argyll and Bute, Inverclyde, Renfrewshire, Stirling, & West Dunbartonshire) are eligible for FREE online workshops.
