The Scottish Maritime Museum on Irvine Harbourside has announced that the last free tickets for BBC Radio 4’s flagship topical discussion programme ‘Any Questions?’ are now available.

‘Any Questions?’, which airs at the Museum at 8pm on Friday 26 July, gives members of the public the opportunity to challenge four personalities drawn from the worlds of politics, business, science, arts and the media on the issues of the day.

Hosted by BBC Political Correspondent Alex Forsyth, Any Questions? first broadcast in October 1948, from the Guildhall in Winchester and is now the longest running live discussion programme in the UK.

Guests can bring their question along on the night or write them on arrival. Those whose question is chosen, then read it out to the panel on air.

Attendance at Any Questions? is free and booking is essential.

Places can be booked on the Museum’s website at www.scottishmaritimemuseum.org

Christopher Woodland, Commercial Manager at the Scottish Maritime Museum, says:

We’re thrilled to be one of the venues across the UK chosen to host this enduringly popular national radio programme.
“We’ve had a great response so we’re urging everyone who is interested to pop onto our website and book their free seat soon to avoid disappointment.”
