‘Vikings and Skylarks on Cumbrae’ author, Maura McRobbie will read excerpts from her book telling how the Vikings lived in peace with the Scots on the west of Scotland long before the Battle of Largs in 1263.

Based on real life events Maura will introduce the main characters: Moranna,  a young Scots girl and Sten, a Viking boy living on the island of Cumbrae.

The workshop is suitable for ages 6-12 years.

There are 15 places available for each workshop at 10.30am – 12.00pm and at 2pm – 3.30pm.
