There’ll be lots of swashbuckling fun at the Scottish Maritime Museum (Irvine) as young buccaneers weigh anchor for an afternoon of fun.

The fun–filled day for children of all ages and their families is back by popular demand.

Running from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 12th August, the Pirate Day will feature a special pirate treasure hunt trail, face painting, a bouncy pirate ship castle, fun games around the Museum and ‘make and take’ crafts. You can also meet our very own pirates who will show you the ropes and welcome you aboard.

Visitors are encouraged to dress up for the day.
