Keith, Graham and Drew will lead an insightful tour discussing the process behind creating the fusion between 2D artwork and soundscape in their Painting with Sound exhibition. (11am, 1pm, 3pm)
Glassblowing Demonstration with the British Society of Scientific Glass Blowers inc. Dr Ayako Tani
Chair of the British Society of Scientific Glassblowers Robert McLeod and Dr Ayako Tani will conduct a live demonstration revealing the techniques and skills of scientific glassblowing. This skilled craft is still in use today but is now on the Heritage Crafts Association’s Red List of Endangered Crafts. You will discover how unique a material glass is and how fascinating it is to work with! – On throughout the day

Glass Workshops with Eilidh MacKenzie and Steven Graham
Join glass artists Eilidh Mackenzie and Steven Graham for a fun and informative workshop making copper-foiled, Halloween themed mobiles.
Workshops will run from:
10.00am – 11.45am
12.00pm – 1.45pm
2.00pm – 3.45pm.
There is limited availability at the door, we recommend you turn up early. Pre-booking has now closed
If you have never worked with glass before this is your chance for some hands-on experience.
Participants will be introduced to the skills of glass cutting, copper-foiling and soldering and will produce a hanging mobile to take home.
Classes are limited to 10 participants with a minimum age of 16. No prior experience required.
Classes are costed at £15/ person.
