Scottish Maritime Museum Harbour Road, Irvine
The Scottish Maritime Museum will host an evening talk and film show by popular Waverley expert Iain Quinn at 7pm on Thursday 19 October.
This time, Iain will dive into the early years of Caledonian MacBrayne and the P.S. Waverley in preservation.
Visitors will enjoy not seen before archive footage of the famous paddlesteamer sailing around Bute in the 1970s.
The film show will also include footage of ferries from the early days of Caledonian MacBrayne, including the 1957 Glen Sannox and the Maid of Cumbrae.
Visitors will also enjoy scenes of King George V sailing to Iona and T.S. Queen Mary cruising on the Clyde.
