Dumbarton – The ‘Perfect Blend’ Tea Room

Priviously popular with local regulars this is a great place to grab a hot or cold drink and a bite to eat.

Located at the front of the museum within the foyer, the tea room is usually open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am – 3pm.

A museum visit isn’t complete without a poping into to this cosy place to enjoy tasty savouy items, scrumptious cakes and refreshing hot or cold beverages

Visitors can enjoy Wi-Fi access, free parking and the adjacent Museum gift shop.

Please note access to the tearoom is via steps and toilet facilities are on the second floor.

 

Irvine – Puffers Café

Located a short walk from the main museum Linthouse building, enjoy a selection of hot meals, salads, soups, sandwiches, cakes and hot and cold drinks in a family-friendly, comfortable setting.


Puffers Café is situated in the harbourside Boatshop building with uninterrupted panoramic views over the Garnock and Irvine river estuary, and is open to non-museum visitors.

Serving hot meals, snacks, freshly-baked cakes and biscuits, and a full kid’s menu. Facilities include: highchairs, unisex baby changing facilities, and we will heat your baby’s bottle for you.

Puffer’s Café is open Monday-Thursday 10am-4pm* with last orders at 3.30pm.

*Occasionally the Café may close early to cater for events.

Irvine
– Linthouse Coffee Bar

The Linthouse Coffee Bar is waiting for you, where you can enjoy a cup of fresh coffee, refreshing tea or delicious hot chocolate with a cookie, before you enjoy or after your Museum experience.

Situated in the reception area next to the visitor services desk, the coffee bar is open from 10am-4pm daily when the Museum is open.
