Join us for a FREE science weekend at our Museum in Dumbarton on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th May as part of National Museums Scotland’s fabulous Powering Up!

Come along and have fun with lots of hands on activities and challenges for all the family.

Build a wind turbine or glider, construct a LEGO® dam, use cycle power to move water, build a battery using cola, make and race your own hovercraft and much more! Phew!

Activities run from 10am - 4pm each day.

The weekend is inspired by the scientific innovation of the world-renowned William Denny and Brothers shipyard on which site the Museum stands today.

Stay awhile and enjoy FREE entry to the Museum and guided tours throughout the weekend.
